For some reason, a lot of people seem not to understand how on earth Evanna can already have fans. Now it's time to set them straight! Why are you already a fan of Evanna Lynch? Let us know here by emailing Mollyfoggsims @ gmail . com!

1. Amy: The moment I saw Evanna's picture, I flipped out, because she was exactly how I pictured Luna. I was an immediate fan of hers from that very moment.

I've since been awestruck by just how amazing this girl is. Not only is she a humungous Potter fan, she's also gorgeous, humble and brilliant! And then when you add on the fact that she got a response from JK Rowling telling her to follow her dreams, and a signed copy of OOTP years ago... it's all so much, and I just don't think they could have found a more perfect girl for the role. Her mum was right, this really was written in the stars.

2. Ally (Forums Admin): There was just something extremely appealing about Evanna as soon as I had seen the picture. She looked perfect for the part, but as well as that she seemed like such a nice, bright, interesting person, and now that I've heard ... well read.. what she has to say, she seems intelligent, too. The fact she's a huge HP fan is great, because we all know how much effort she is going to put into the role. Go Evanna!

3. PurplePlums05: I agree, right from the moment I saw her picture....It just struck me that I was looking at Luna. I don't think there is a more perfect choice out there. I also think that it is really cool to support someone who is a real fan. I just think there is something about her to really like!

4. Melissa: Because she seems like an amazingly humble person who worked hard to make her dream come true. That alone is to be praised! And because she told her fans she'd work hard to be a good Luna which I think makes her exceptional. As a huge HP fan herself, she knows how important it is to have the characters portrayed as accurately as possible.

5. Niu (Senior Staffer): When she said 'Why did you just say girls though? Boys can follow their dreams too.' What a stunningly thoughtful thing to say! I liked her for the part before that because she was such a huge HP fan and it was about time a fan got a part, but it was that quote that really sealed it for me. Every interview I read, it's more and more obvious why her friends and family say she 'is' Luna.

6. Custos: Evanna IS Luna, exactly as I pictured her. Luna is a major character in the OOTP, and it was so important to get the casting right. I read each book before seeing the film, and so far every principle character is as I imagined them to be. It's amazing, or maybe it's just magic!

7. Rachel: I think Evanna will do a great job because out of all the girls who auditioned, she got the part. She does not look exactly like I imagined, but I'm sure they do some touching up when she is filming. I think she deserves to be Luna; she is a Potterfreak and a big member of the club of HP freakery. I can't wait until we get a clip or two of her acting!

8. Yuma's Mommy: I started reading HP because my son and my sister got me into it. When I read OOTP, Luna became such an endearing character. I wish I had the courage to be "me" when I was in school rather than try to fit in and please everyone (impossible of course). Anyway, I saw Evanna's photo and immediately I laughed because she looked EXACTLY like the Luna I had in mind while reading. I wish Evanna all the best wishes as she flies off in this adventure as Luna.

9. Alissa (Head of Graphics): Luna Lovegood has to be one of my favorite female characters in the Harry Potter books. I've always envied how she isn't afraid to be herself. I couldn't wait for Luna to be cast, but I was a bit worried that the casting directors would pick someone completely wrong, in my opinion at least. When the first photo of Evanna was released on February 2nd, I sighed with relief. She looked perfect for the part! Now that I've read some of the things she has said, she seems very bright and intelligent. The fact that she is a hard-core HP fan makes her all the better! I can't wait to see her act, and I wish her the best of luck!

10. Katrina: I've gotta say... if Evanna understands and acts like Luna anywhere near as well as it's said she does, then I believe she will be a HUGE hit in the Harry Potter fandom. Even those who aren't fans of the books will absolutely love her if (and when!) she gets Luna spot on. I just can not wait to see what she has in store for us, and am absolutely thrilled that someone who seems to understand the character so well has been cast.

11. Hilary: I spent days searching the internet for info on who would be portraying my favourite character. I watched the girls lining up in London, watched the casting directors, and watched 15,000 dreams fall apart. Imagine what Evanna has to go through. All those girls who didn't succeed, some of them are probably furious. All that pressure has been pushed onto her shoulders, and that, I think is pretty cool, that I respect her for.

12. Rachel: My favourite Harry Potter character has always been Luna. The moment I saw those pictures I knew that Evanna was THE Luna Lovegood. She's inspired me to never give up on your dreams - because one day they might come true. She's an absolutely lovely girl, who is obviously a devoted Potter fan. She seems to understand Luna, and she's promised to work hard just to make Luna the best she can be. I cannot wait to see her on the big screen!

13. HPFan: To be completely honest, Evanna didn't impress me too much at first. But I got to thinking, she was the best Luna they had found. She grew on me and now I think she's completely brillant. I think she'll be a crowd favourite, because she was such a fan, and went after her dreams, and she deserves a load of respect for that. I think she'll do an absolutely brilliant job because she's such a big fan, and she definately deserves it.

14. Alana: She's so prestine! Everything about her IS Luna. The way she looks is perfect. Her attitude looks awesome, and I can tell that her reality IS Harry Potter. She's the perfect person for the role!

15. Laura: Her determination.

She is almost exactly the way I pictured Luna, and her determination to get to London and get the role stood out to me! We know little about her at this moment in time, but from the interviews/quotes I've read she seems like an ordinary, down-to-earth girl who has just got her wish - As long as she acts Luna the way she knows is best then I don't care!

16. Linny: Who could possibly need more of a reason for being a fan of Evanna, than JK Rowling herself announcing that she's perfect?

17. Anonymous1992: She is perfect, quirky and pretty at the same time! I hope she wears radish earrings! At first I imagined that Luna would be lanky with an oval face, but Evanna deserves the role! I think that it would be quite hard to match people's imaginations, because everyone imagines her differently so, regardless of people's imagination, she fits Rowling's description! Allison: Though I didn't immediately think Evanna looked the part of Luna, I've become more interested in her and very supportive of her as I've heard more about how she's such a fan of Potter, that she's a bit nervous about all this, that everyone thinks she's great for the part so far... And from what we've heard and read, it sounds like she's a really nice person, and I can't wait to start seeing stills of her in the movie - and better yet, the film itself!

19. Vishal Desai: I think Evanna is going to be the perfect Luna Lovegood. I can only imagine Evanna commenting the quidditch match and saying Smith suffers from "Loser's Lurgy".

Honestly, some people live to criticize. Do not let them bother you Evanna. It was the same when Katie Leung was cast as Cho Chang.

20. Laura: I like Evanna because she's not the kind of girl who just really, really wants to be in a Harry Potter film. She is more than that. She is the kind of girl who has a dream and knows exactly what she wants to become. She won't let anybody or anything stand in her way of achieving it. She has a lot of self-confidence and a lot of enthusiasum! She also seems like a great friend and the perfect Luna, and that is why I love her so!

21. Sahrish: First, Evanna is a great role model. She is a bit younger than me, but I still think she's a great role model. I mean, she had a dream and she never gave up - that shows that you really should never give up. And she's from a small town. I am too; I'm from Schiller Park, IL which no one really knows about. And I think she helps people to not give up. Besides her personality, she is a true Harry Potter fan, so knowing how many times she read the books, I'm sure she'll do well as Luna. And also, she has the perfect look as Luna: the look in her eyes show that she is a nice person, but maybe misunderstood and made fun of. She is definitely the perfect Luna!

22. Zara: Any Harry Potter fan who's read the Order of Phoenix and anyone who can relate to Luna's charachter will love Evanna. It happens every time a new movie comes out when there's a new addition to the HP cast: everyone, because they've read the book, will instantly love the person playing the charachter. It's as if the actors complete the charachters. Anyone who is everone should love Evanna because it's so easy to see that she was born to play the part! Not only is she great looking, but she also looks intelligent and friendly. At first I wasn't looking forward to who was going to play Luna, but after seeing Evanna, it was impossible to doubt that a gal like that would let any one down. Best thing about it is she was and still is a loyal Harry Potter fan! Now people may not like her simply because they're jealous! :):):)

23. RyKee: Evanna caught my interest the second I saw her picture. She looks absolutely perfect for Luna. From her long blonde hair to her bright blue eyes, she fits her role like an extremely quirky glove. The incredible story about her and Jo, and Evanna's fierce love of the series long before the auditions just serves to solidify my unconditional support of her. Evanna is an outstanding addition to the cast and movie five is going to rock.

24. Jemma: Well I'll start at the very beginning. I am a complete Harry Potter fanatic and I was one of those crazy potheads who waited in line for the highly anticipated OotP release at midnight in the summer of 2003. I read the book in three days and I loved it! Why? Two words: Luna Lovegood. I loved her right from the start. Even now I'm unsure why I am so obsessed with her. Luna is just hilarious, she always makes me laugh. To skip ahead slightly, when it was announced who would be playing Luna, I couldn't believe what I saw! It was a photo of a very beautiful girl...Evanna Lynch. I don't know what it was but from that very moment, she has had me dazzled. She looks exactly how I pictured Luna. Evanna is very pretty. I googled her name to find out more about her and somehow I stumbled across this site, and just browsing here and reading her personal quotes and her interviews, she seems like such an amazing girl! She sounds so sweet, nice and hard-working. She had a dream of playing Luna Lovegood and she would do anything to make her dream come true. She's proven that with a little bit of hard work and determination, you can make your dreams come true. Already she's inspiring me to make my dreams come true. Now that she's playing Luna, she seems really excited and grateful to be given the chance. Now I can't wait to for OotP to come out so I can see Evanna act. Evanna, keep on smiling and shining and you will go far! You are an inspiration to all!

25. Nathan: When I first saw Evanna, she was a little different to the Luna I had imagined, but I think Evanna will do the character justice. Luna Lovegood is one of my favourite characters in the 5th book and I hope they leave a lot of funny one-liners Luna says. Also Evanna being a huge HP fan really relieved me a lot, and I think she deserves this role and hope her acting career will take off.
